For some riders, choosing tack colours starts with the horse. A rich teal can look spectacular against a chestnut. Bright blues and purples can pop beautifully against greys. Strong greens, oranges and pinks create fantastic contrast on darker horses.

Once you've chosen your colour, suddenly everything starts matching. Bridle. Breastplate. Reins. Saddlecloth. Strapping buckets. Rider clothing. Crew shirts. Float decorations... We understand how this happens. The Best Part? Bright Doesn't Have to Mean High Maintenance

There's always a slight hesitation when choosing pale or particularly bright horse gear:

"But it's going to get filthy."

Yes. It's horse gear. It absolutely will. Fortunately, that's exactly where Biothane shines.

Unlike traditional materials that can require considerably more care after a wet or muddy ride, Biothane can generally be rinsed or wiped clean. For stubborn grime, some mild soapy water and a soft sponge or brush is usually all that's required. So choosing white, pastel green, fluorescent pink or bright orange doesn't necessarily mean signing yourself up for hours of tack cleaning.
